Awkward & Awesome

AWKWARD:

• Not sure if this would qualify as awkward or awesome, but in my Intro to Yoga class today, the teacher kept coming over to me (there were only 6 of us in the class) and massaging me back and neck.... Is that normal?  I was okay with the fact of getting a free massage, but wasn't sure if that was normal or not so felt a little on the awkward side. Thoughts?
• To that comment, having women in their 60s doing crazy yoga poses and I can get about halfway through them
• Last yoga comment I promise... almost passing out and puking in the bathroom during heated yoga
• Trying not to get side boob in that v-neck dress (1st pic).  Love the dress, but hadn't worn it in a while and result was me tugging on it all night in Vegas
• Mario Lopez hosting the SI Party and being able to tell he is absolutely full of himself! Sad, sad Slater when will you learn?

AWESOME:

• My trip to Vegas this past weekend with my besties! Kara, Mandi, KJ (Top Pic), & Lisa Lu (middle pic)
• Going to the "Pawn Stars" pawn shop.  You know that show on the History Channel?  If not, check it out there is some interesting stuff on that show.  Too bad the guys were out of town :(
• Getting back into the swing of things with Yoga - 2x this week! If you are a yoga lover, try the Yoga Sculpt class, its is HARD CORE.  Weights+Yoga=SOREEEEEE (but good sore)
• KJ getting us in VIP to different clubs in Vegas INCLUDING the Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit  party at Pure.  Check out the next page for more pics....  
• Seeing Kate Upton and all the other SI models up close and personal.  Made me not want to eat for months, but I will say they were healthy skinny (well not so much Anne V, but the others were)

AWKWARD:

• Interviews where strange questions are asked... such as "What magazine would you be on the cover  of and what would it say about you?" Um... long pause... longer pause... why in the world I said "Cosmo" - the SEX magazine I used to read in airports when I was in college one will never know.  Women's Health is what I SHOULD have said but the brain fart didn't allow for it. Ooops
• To follow on that comment, being asked, "What cartoon would you be?" and my response was "a combo of go-go gadget and tazmanian devil."  Who am I? WHAT?!
• Wearing heels.  Now I am 5'9" and I love to wear heels (for the look not the comfort), however, it pains me to be around short people because I feel so dang awkward. They look awkward looking up at me and I feel awkward because I tend to lean down as if I can't hear them from way up there. Something I will always have to deal with, but after meeting the shortest woman ever this week while I was in heels just reiterated that thought.
• Custom Spray Tans.  Standing naked in front of a perfect stranger with freezing air blowing at you. Nuff said. That is awkward.  
• Picking out Walt's V-Day gift - picking out gifts for guys is insanely hard.  

AWESOME:

• To my last awkward comment above....at least the spray tan resulted in sprayed on abs as well.  Hollar! 
• I'm going to Vegas with my besties TODAYYYYYYYY!!!! Can.NOT.Wait.
• I had 3 interviews in one week! And have one already set up for Monday.  I'm finally on a roll!
• My V-Day gift from the BF.  See above. I've been talking about how I wanted to buy a Tempurpedic pillow and the guy listened without me even knowing! Most exciting gift ever! Well not really but awesome gift - props to Walt.
• Finally figuring out what to get the BF for V-Day.  Cologne.  After sniffing cologne for hours, I stumbled across this amazing smelling cologne "Lanuit Del Homme" by Wes Saint Laurent. I was hesitant to buy for him since he doesn't wear it often, but figured since he claims he can't smell anything it was better for me to get it for him versus him picking out his own scent.  Who knows where that nose will lead him :) Love ya babe! 

Awkward & Awesome

Awkward:

• Talking at dinner one night with my mom and sister, and my mom says" Laura, that's what you should do..." when my sister said there were such things as puppy massage therapists.  As much as I love puppies... I'd feel a little odd with that title on a business card.
• When my sister and I were taking her boston terriers for a walk we ended up getting sidetracked down a street with a whole bunch of sticky things (not sure what they are called), and they were getting stuck in the dogs' feet.  We then proceeded to CARRY the dogs down the side of the road. Not even an hour before I made fun of a woman walking her dog in the neighborhood carrying it saying that doesn't qualify as walking the dog!  OOOPS. 
• I'm pretty sure that I go to this sushi restaurant called Hapa so much near my house they are beginning to know what I will order every time and sit me in the same area EVERY time. 
• Going grocery shopping to prepare for our ski trip this weekend at 3:45 today and nearly having a panic attack because the store was over flooded with people.  Walt then suggested it was because it was going to snow tonight.  1) People should still be working until 5 in my head, the ground is still drive. 2) Then speed up the process and don't' walk slowly down the aisles when there are 10 people behind you!

Awesome:

• Going home to Tulsa last Thursday and getting to extend my stay until yesterday! I was supposed to go home Monday and my sister ended up getting her schedule changed. It was much needed family time I must say. 
• While Mia was stuck in Denver with the BF and Allie, I had a sleepover with Harley bug (my sister's boston pictures above) to make up for not having a cat to cuddle with.  Yep... and she sleeps UNDER the covers! Weird dog. 
• I'm beyond excited for our ski trip in Vail with our KC friends this weekend!!! There is actually a decent amount of snow on the mountains so this should be our first GREAT ski this year.  Finally!!!! 
• Getting an interview for next week... Things are lookin' up!

Awkward & Awesome

Yes Mia is doing EXACTLY what it looks like. She is acting like a dog.  For those people that don't like cats, they are JUST like dogs and this is proof!

Awkward:

• Dancing at my friend's engagement party with the BF and when he spun me he forgot to CATCH me! So I ended up on the floor in front of the entire party.  This should do it alone for the awkward moments of the week. 
• Watching the 49ers play on Sunday with the BFs family and not thinking before speaking I ask, "Is that a body bag on the field?" As the medics get the gurney for a player that was stuffed inside what looked like a body bag to me.  Clearly I need to watch more football. 
• Almost biting it big time two times in less than a minute due to texting and not watching where I was walking.  Definitely need to watch out for stairs. 
• Mia licking out of the toilet and me forgetting and giving her kisses.. Bleh.

Awesome:

• My friends.  Especially those who are helping me get through this hard time being unemployed and helping me find other great opportunities.  I love you all you are amazing. 
• I am actually going back to Tulsa this minute. I found a cheap flight somehow early this week and off I go.  Although I am having to fly to OKC and drive with my sister to Tulsa for over an hour.  Oh well. It's worth it. 
• Doing my first giveaway of the year - that is always awesome!!! Enter now!
• Walt cooked me a yummy dinner last night! Yes I know I am unemployed and should be cooking for him - but it's only fair if we take turns right?

Awkward & Awesome

Awkward:

• Standing in line at the unemployment office. Awkward in every sense.  Especially when weirdos try and talk to you. 
• Learning what Missouri's maximum unemployment pay is.  Let's just say that I am so happy I do not have to support a family on it.  It shines a whole new light on unemployment for me. WOW. 
• Taking Lucy, the BFs dog, on a run at the park and on the second lap around she stops to take a poop.  I instantly freaked out because it was right in the middle of the path and I had no plastic bags.  Naturally I pulled her off the path to stop her and she ended up sprinting the other way to catch a squirrel and I slipped and fell on a piece of ice. Awkward having the lady I just passed see me wipe out. OOOPS. 

Awesome:

• Making the AMAZING tasting cheese fondue appetizer for the BF this week for the first time.  Not only did I get everything timed perfectly, it tasted amazing.  Thanks little sis for the awesome fondue set.  My thighs will thank you later in life! 
• Being in Colorado with Walt's family.  It's so nice to go over to his parents house for family dinner when my family is back in Oklahoma and I'm missing them so much.
• Taking Kara to her first hard core Yoga class.  I am slowly trying to prove to people it IS a work out.  I actually sweat more doing yoga than running 4 miles... weird. 
• The BF sent me beautiful flowers to brighten up my days(s) and my apartment.  What a sweetie.

Awkward & Awesome

Awkward: 

• When I get done working out and my cat comes and sits on my lap to start licking my arms - Sicko
• Trying to do the tutorial that I am posting tomorrow - I am better suited on the other side of the camera... guess you will just have to come back and see! 
• Pretending to like football and watching it with all guys - four hours of that sport is just too much.  I'm considering trying to figure out what exactly half the stuff they say/do means! 
• Phone Interviews.

Awesome:

• Finally getting the BFs Christmas gift a Burberry Watch which I am currently obsessed with! We ordered it right before Christmas for full price and due to complications had to re-order it to find out that it was actually on SALE! Heck ya! If you love it like I do call Nordy right away before they sell out!
• Having 4 interviews in less than a week - Thank God the ball is finally rolling!
• I may possibly be selling one of my photos on a website! That means I'd actually make money from a photo.  That means I'm one step closer to being known for my photos. Heck I'll take it if ONE person buys it!
• I get to ski in Vail this weekend - Pretty pumped to have some good snow and gets some more runs in at the start of the season. 

Awkward & Awesome Kitty

You read me right. Kitty.  Cats can also be awkward just as humans can believe it or not.....

Awkward:

• The fact that my kitty, Mia, managed to climb into the fridge as I was making dinner tonight.  The fridge shut behind her and she was VERY lucky I thought I saw her walk in there before it shut!
• Even more awkward, literally two minutes later, I was switching out my laundry and turned to my dryer to put more clothes in and look who I found! A second attempt at kitty suicide! 
• Sitting in my house ALL day job searching online - this is about the least amount of fun one could have.  Writing endless cover letters is a job in itself.  Don't' let anyone say anything differently.  You're just not getting paid - blah!

Awesome:

• That same awkward kitty is also very awesome - no longer waking me up meowing anymore in the middle of the night. Now her problem is cuddling too much and waking me up!
• I'm officially in the interview process - so better than sending out cover letters and resumes to no man's land and never hearing back! Cheers! 
• Vampire Diaries starts tonight - yes I am a 16 year old wanna be and am in love with this show. But mostly the hot guys!
• My trip to Winter Park with my friends was absolutely AWESOME! Lots of fun and funny memories to have. 
• Finally getting back into shape - well sorta - when the dog I was running with today was sprinting ahead at full speed and I was dying... didn't feel so in shape. But we did make it almost 5 mile

Awkward & Awesome Attempts

To begin this post I'd like to announce that I am in Grand Junction, Colorado. Has anyone ever been here?

It's approximately 4 hours away from Denver, PAST Vail, which is as far West as I've ever been in Colorado to date. The population is roughly 60,000 from what I have learned from speaking to the locals here.

I'm here on a work trip, and I've been trying to find a good time to come here for a month or so.  Last week I decided that I had to just make a decision and go with it. None of this postponing business. Especially before the snow hits big time.  I'm not looking forward to driving through all the passes when that happens. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it though.

Awkward:

• The picture above. The story.  I am in a hotel in Grand Junction and decided to order room service for dinner tonight. I REALLY wanted the cobb salad, but I also wanted a grilled cheese for whatever reason.  So heck why not order both and eat what I want of each. Wouldn't you know it that room service brought me TWO water cups, TWO silverware sets.  How fat do I feel right now?
• In a waiting room today an old lady farted as she walked towards the door, it took everything in my NOT to laugh.  I know she didn't mean to but it was so loud. How did her old lady butt do that??
• Watching Private Practice right now in my hotel and crying on two separate occasions. #PATHETIC
• Having to admit to myself that I may not THINK I have a lot of awkward moments to recall from week to week, but I really do think if someone else was in my shoes they would hit the ground running realizing I'm just an awkward person so typical awkward things just aren't that awkward for me

Awesome:

• I had someone say they are having a hard time remembering what I am selling.  My immediate thought.  I will sing and dance for them. Literally.  I sang and danced in front of a person I have met at best three times.  His face was priceless and I SHOULD have felt awkward, BUT I felt awesome because I found my niche.  Who can forget bad dancing and singing?
• It's been about two weeks since I've gotten up any motivation to work out for some reason.  I was a good girl and went for a 3 mile run Tuesday, opted for not working out yesterday, and almost did again tonight, but decided I had to get my butt into shape.  I ran/walked for an hour! YAHOO! But then I ate the above... well part of it. OOOPS.
• I just found out on of my best friends is pregnant! Not sure if I can announce her name on here yet but I'm super excited for her! That makes TWO pregnant friends at the same time -  Crazy pants!
• Seeing my old co-workers at Angela's wedding this past weekend, and knowing that I will be back in Tulsa in less than one week to see my mom and sister.  EXTREMELY pumped!

Awkward & Awesome Week

You can say that again. Do you ever have those weeks where you just feel "off?" That is how the past week has felt like.  I don't know if it's because of daylight savings time or the full moon, who knows.  All I know is I am ready for this week to be over and Friday to be here!

Awkward:

• Repetitively having to go to Starbucks EVERY day for my job.  No... I don't work there, I just buy drinks frequently as part of my job! 
• Going to Kona this weekend for the first time since I've been in Denver I had no idea where the bathroom was and walked to the bar to ask which way to the bathroom.  This young guy proceeds to tell me it's right through those double doors which didn't look like bathroom doors at all, but considering he was an employee I figured I should trust him.  I pull the doors open to find the room with a ton of equipment.  The kid told me to walk into a closet because he thought it would be funny and "he just couldn't resist" according to him.  Weirdo!
• When I asked someone at work how I could get them to remember something, he said you'll come up with something.  Result: Me saying that I would do a song and dance to help him remember. Not only did I say I would, I did it right then and there.
• Calling the BF to surprise him at work and told him to come downstairs to then realize I was still 5 minutes away because I went to the wrong place! Not so much a surprise is it?!

Awesome:

• Only one day of work left, and then I leave for KC for my final wedding (#8) of 2010!!! 
• Doing Canvas & Cocktails for the first time, and definitely not the last time this past weekend
• Packing for my KC trip and didn't over think anything in my suitcase.  Pretty sure that is a first, and pretty sure I'll end up forgetting something
• Getting my very first coffee maker as a welcome gift from the BF's parents.  I can choose to put hot chocolate, hazelnut flavored coffee, ANY kind I want EVERY morning without spending $4+ at Starbucks!!! Now that is AWESOME!
• My friend Carrie got engaged this past weekend!!! Congrats Carrie! Can't wait for our slumber party this weekend.

I Can Be Awkward AND Awesome

Remember how I said I needed some time to let you into my house while I decorate and make it an actually home here in Denver?

I gave you look into my bathroom, which was my first completed room.

Now let me welcome you into my "dining" room.  Let me break down where I got most of these items:

• Dining Room Table which is a very nice and HEAVY (according to Walt and his friends who helped move it) - Dad via my parent's divorce
• Green wall decoration - Mom when she bought it for her house and decided she didn't like it in her house, she bought it at a local florist shop which is cool and you'd never expect to find something like this there
• Side Table Against the Wall - Dad via divorce 
• Painting - IKEA for my five year anniversary.  Would you believe it was only $125? I fell in love right away. And yes... I know that everyone and their mom probably has it and it's not original but who the heck cares :) It's art and it's mine and I love it! 

So the moral of the story is.... parent's divorce = furnishings for your house.

AWKWARD: 

• Walking to Walt's house last night I slipped on black ice, cracked my phone, bruised my elbows and the back of my head! OUCH! You know when you trip/fall in public you ALWAYS look around to see if anyone saw you... yep did that.  No one around, which almost made it worse that no one else saw how hard I fell. On an even more pathetic note, if I saw myself fall I would have laughed at me.  Now that is karma. 
• Having to pee so bad in an office today that I was dancing around trying to hold it in to SPRINT to the bathroom the second I left the office. Worst and best feeling once I found a bathroom.  Sorry TMI I know! 
• Trying to find "business professional" work clothes in my close that are both professional and warm with these crazy snow days in the middle of the week.  I ended up wearing business on top and Uggs on bottom to trek through the snow to the different offices.

AWESOME: 

• My sister Katie met most of the BFs family for the first time this weekend and we all had a GREAT time. Love them both! 
• Realizing today that I feel 100% less stressed than I did five weeks ago when I first started my job.  Don't' get my wrong I still have some work to do, but it's a good feeling to not feel completely worthless at my job. 
• My sister may move to Denver sooner rather than later! YAYYYY!!!!
• Thursdays.  Love all my Thursday night shows and doing NOTHING and enjoying my alone time. 
• Having different groups of friends meet for the first time and hit it off!

Awkward and Awesome Week

No matter how tired I am right now, and no matter how bad I want to be in bed, I wanted to get my A&A post in today because I actually made little notes something awkward happened to me this week! I knew if I ever wanted to be decent at these Thursday posts I would need to start writing stuff down, otherwise I'd be staring at my screen for an hour trying to remember what happened that day, not even able to recall the past SEVEN days!

Awkward:

• Waiting in line to return something at Ikea this past weekend and an Ikea employee basically plows me over not watching where he was going.  I mean body slammed me! 
• In Ace Hardware parking lot I was busy paying attention to what the people next to me were doing to their car that I put my car in drive and ran right into the big cement parking block.  Of course the strangers I was watching were not watching me! 
• Watching someone who shall remain nameless try and show me how much "easier" it was to speak into their smart phone as it typed for them.  15 minutes later the two sentence text was complete after multiple backspaces and repeating themselves. It took everything in me to be like yaaaaa that looks handy.  NOT.  I'd rather call the person at that point.
• The second picture above.  I was trying to be ultra awkward when trying to pose with Tori dog because she wouldn't sit still so I figured if I sat still so would she!

Awesome:

• After a nice banquet tonight I was ready to get out of my Spanx so I opted to remove them while going through the parking garage because I was SO uncomfortable.  The feeling was AWESOME to be free from those things!
• My friend Kristin was in town from KC with her hubby Adam and their golden retriever Tori! See the first pic! She's cute isn't she? They got this amazing deal at this resort/outdoor person's dreamland not too far outside of Denver (well kind far about 4 hours), but totally worth the stop in Denver last night.  Hence why I didn't get around to a post yesterday.
• Finding great finds at Nordy Rack. Every single time I have been there in the past I have never been able to find anything.  This time I found two pairs of shoes, a running top, and a work top (lame I know).  Cha- Ching! 
• My sister booked her flight to come see me in a week. I am SO excited for her to visit me in Denver and visit Denver for the first time in general. Wahoo! Hope I can convince her to move here.  Crossing my fingers. 

Awkward and Awesome Colorado

So after doing two of these "Awkward & Awesome" posts I've decided that I really do like them a lot. They make me re-examine my week that has blown by and actually help me remember that it's almost Friday!

Awkward:

• Waking up this morning (Thursday) thinking that it was Friday! Ugh... I hate when that happens and it's been happening all week....I've been a day off every day when I wake up. 
• Walking out of a building today looking at something on my phone and being so distracted that I completely tripped down a curb and with a girl walking behind me and trying to pretend she didn't see it... girl pretending not to see me trip and almost REALLY hurt myself... it happens all the time I am not embarrassed I'm just awkward!
• Walking with my friends this past weekend and tripped over a VERY tiny crack.  I mean so tiny I have no clue how I completely lost balance and used my friend as support to make sure I didn't topple over in front of a restaurant. Yes I'm clumsy can you tell?
• Being so dang tall.  I'm 5'9" and I LOVE heels.  My job entails me to meet new people every day and over the past two weeks I've had numerous people A) Ask how tall I am B) Tell me that I'm so tall I don't need to wear heels be(cause they were clearly not comfortable because I was towering over them. This also includes a very old man looking up at me shaking his head saying you don't need to wear those things your already so tall! Yup, no idea who that man was.

Awesome:

• Downtown Denver! I went down there for dinner last night and they have beautiful lights streaming across the streets (see picture above).  It feels magical!
• The BF is finally all moved into his apartment (three buildings over- same complex as me)! Seeing him is so much easier than driving 20 minutes.  I know 20 minutes isn't terrible - but since he was up the street from me in KC, 20 minutes is like five states over for me now!
• Feeling a tiny bit more comfortable with my new job.  Every week feels so different, but a good different.  It's nice to feel like you've got a handle on things every once and a while.  While it's not even close to where I'd like to be, conquering each week feeling like I've done a better job than the week before feels AWESOME.
• Being in L.O.V.E. Don't you just love those moments when you have the most perfect kiss with the person you love the most.  I get them A LOT :)

Awkward & Awesome Attempt

At getting back into a routine.  Like I said, with all this moving and new job stuff I've tried desperately to get this routine going.  So here I am with my second attempt with "Awkward & Awesome Thursdays" starting by The Daybook.

AWKWARD:

• Being in week two of my new job and feeling completely and utterly lost.  I had been at my last job so long I forgot what it was like to be "new" and trying to learn the ropes all over again... I wish I could click my ruby red slippers and magically be six months in the future so I can be over this phase of my job
• Sitting here trying to remember awkward moments of my week, but even sitting here for 20 minutes staring at the computer cannot remember my week for the life of me.  If just got away from me! Ever have those weeks?
• Being in Target with my friends Kara and going to the red phone to get help with a "team lift" on a desk I wanted to buy, I call the line to get assistance, and the recording said someone would be there in 60 seconds.... I turned to Kara and laughed that they actually thought someone would be there in 60 seconds (it sounded to fast), to be mid-sentence and have a Target employee standing right behind me. I turned bright red of course! 
• Being introduced to someone through a glass window..... He waved.... I waved and smiled and he waved again (btw he is old) 
• Sitting on my couch writing this post (post-workout), and Mia (my kitty) jumps up behind me sits down and starts licking my face (yes... she was licking sweat) - SICK!

AWESOME:

• Working out again - someone consistently! 
• Family dinners at the BF's parents house - living away from home for so long and actually having a family (well his family) to see weekly is refreshing.  Gosh I wished my mom and my sister lived closer to me
• Catching up on all my shows this week after weeks of getting behind - holler at my Glee, Grey's, Private Practice, and Vampire Diaries fans! 
• Being ALMOST moved into my apartment - still have some boxes to go and building a desk (well Walt is doing most of the work)
• Grace (white little pup above) and Mia (kitty) are buds. She normally hides from dogs but was apparently okay with Grace Face. My favorite is the last photo when I was trying to get a pictures of Mia and Grace popped her head in the pictures, she reminds me of her mom and my bestie Kara
• That tomorrow is Friday and I am so excited for the weekend!

Awkward & Awesome Wedding Weekend

Are you all getting tired of me going to all these weddings and talking about them yet?

Too bad :) I have one more.  I've got seven down and one more to go for the year! Now onto the Awkward and Awesome of my week this week - sorry I started this a couple of weeks ago and didn't get around to it last week.

Awkward: 

• Saying goodbye to some of my friends before moving to then see them a few hours later after I just cried my eyes out... 
• The waiter at dinner asking if we were hot sitting outside because they turned on the heater (yah it's really not that cold), my response well you can take off your shirt.... and he says what?! And then I respond by saying well your in black and him thinking I told him he WAS black. Little miscommunication
• Talking to a friend's parents at the wedding this weekend and them telling me thanks for being nice to Geogie and me thinking for one second they were talking about a a guy.... nope they were talking about their daughter I had just met and talked to the night before. OOPS! 
• My friend peeing on my couch... they shall remain nameless but GEEZE cleaning up someone else's pee is NOT my cup of tea.  

Awesome:

• Going to our good friend's beautiful wedding in KC to have a fantastic weekend with some of our best friends before moving
• Moving to Denver - DUH! 
• Starting my job this week - well sorta - I took a whole bunch of tests and actually PASSED! Even the sexual harassment test :) I tend to have a natural mind and let whatever come to it come out of my mouth... my friends thought this would pose a challenge when taking the test
• Getting two dogs this week.  Not really... but staying at my BF's parents house they have two of the cutest dogs and they sleep with me every night and sleep all up in my business.  Which I LOVE since I love to cuddle
• Having dinner with my bestie Kara tonight to celebrate us being back in the same state again after both moving from KC (her 3 months ago - me this week)
• The weather in Denver, while it's been a little rainy the past couple of days, the fact it's not 100 degrees is amazing!

This is my very first week linking up for Awkward and Awesome Thursdays with The Daybook and I'm excited to try out something new on my little bloggy.

So here we go...

Awkward.

• Every time I travel some random person always wants to strike up conversation with me.  Not sure what it is and if there is a stamp that only random strangers in an airport see, but it happens EVERY TIME. A man in the airport to NYC started to talk to me about the giant/scary security guy and then proceeded to find me and post up next to me while we waited for the plane to get there. I soon got up to get a water to avoid awkward conversation.
• Along with the last point, I was also traveling last Friday very early and the woman behind me whacked me in the head and I was so frustrated with the delay we already had and then on top of it she hit me I just covered my face to prevent myself from exploding.  Guy next to me proceeded to tap me (with my earphones in) to make sure I was okay because he could sense my melt down.
• Having to tell BF over half way to the airport that I forgot my cell phone at home and we had to turn around and get it.... 
• Going take a drug test for my new job this morning, not realizing it would involve peeing in a cup so I peed right when I got up.  Get to the place, learn that I had to pee in a cup and not being able to go pee for 45 minutes (1 million cups of water later)... Let's just say I'm very hydrated now and I peed at least 100 times following my test! 
• In my interview last week the interviewer was flailing his arms all over the place as he asked me questions and I thought he was crazy until I noticed there was a small fly that kept flying in front of his face

Awesome.

• Getting a new job AND moving to Denver, CO in a little over a week
• The fact that as I type this right now I am headed to NYC to hang out with two of my best friends (holler KJ and Kara)
• Finally getting the guts to tell off a rep who we do business with that has continuously been a jerk and talks to people like they are incompetent.  Little did he know he was going to wake the beast :) Let's just say he will be a lot nicer to my co-workers from here on out
• Making friends with the leasing agent at my apartment so much that she helped me get out of paying $400 to have Mia (my cat) in the apartment and not having to pay pet rent... YES!!! The mola is going towards NYC trip now! 
• Finding out that Glee Season 2 is available on Netflix (not streaming in case your wondering)(recently got addicted when the BF was out of town for a couple of weeks)
• My good friend Lindsay (shown above) got a new job in L.A and is moving tomorrow.. I'm sad to see her go and will miss her but she has a totally AWESOME job
• Lisa getting Lil' Wayne tickets from 93.3's Steve Serrano last minute and celebrating Lindsay's new job by going to the concert
• More awesome... I know about two songs he sings and the concert was still awesome... could have been the second hand high speaking though... JK ;)
