So here is my dilemma.... I have a wedding St. Patty's Day weekend at Pelican Hill. It is a black tie wedding (i.e. in my head that means a long dress). I have all of ONE long dress so I am RENTING, yes, RENTING a dress from Rent the Runway. While this semi scares me because I've never done it before, I've heard great things (via the internet), so thought I'd give it a shot.
I've narrowed it down to TWO dresses, this is where the dilemma is. Which one should I wear?
Now.... what do you all think? I need some MAJOR advice here! I already rented the Halston Heritage , but am second guessing it after stumbling upon the Nicole Miller.
P.S. The girls boobs are A LOT bigger (Size D) than mine, hence the fit would be a little different so keep that in mind!
I rented a Halston dress from RTR last year, I highly recommend it. Not only will they send you two sizes for free, but they sent me two lipsticks, a razor and a garment bag to keep! I personally like the red one, but just wanted to share my experience!
ReplyDeleteRed for sure!!
ReplyDeleteI like the red one too! :)
ReplyDeletehalston! absolutely! stick with your gut instinct!
ReplyDeletei can't wait to hear how you like the rental! i'd love to do that for a wedding i have in the summer!
The first one is a lot more festive (in my opinion) so I would definitely go for that one. Hope you have an amazing time :)

Hello! Love your blog! Maybe its just me because the popular opinion is the red one, but I personally think that style is so centered on big boobs that if you're not a D it may be dare I say it, Saggy?? Also the blue is more red carpet, where the red seems a little beachy? just thought I'd add my two cents.haha also I just added myself to your followers! and also I wanted to invite you to come check out a really fun giveaway I’m having!
ReplyDeleteHope to see you there! Thanks so much!!

I really love the cobalt blue dress, definitely feels more black tie and the color would be great with your blonde hair. The structure is really classic in it's silhouette but if you prefer something more free flowing and bright choose the first one. All in all, either choice would be a good one.
